Usage Scenario

A Warehouse Operator receives new orders, manually created or from the webshop. Once the order is packed and reviewed. Approve shipping details like the ship-to address, weight and number of parcels.

The shipment data is delivered to the multi-carrier platform, the label is being printed, and Sales documents are updated with parcel numbers and Track & Trace information - completing the shipping process efficiently.


A Customer Service Representative handles inquiries from customers about their shipments. Using the order number, they locate the Posted Shipment in Business Central and retrieve the shipment status via the Track & Trace feature. This allows them to provide accurate, real-time updates on parcel whereabouts, ensuring customers are informed and satisfied.
